Hindi ko naman ine expect na ma appreciate ng lahat ng tao yung gawa ko.

Sa totoo lang, kahit isang (1) tao lang ang ma influence ko mag exercise at least 15 mins everyday. Masaya at fullfilled na ako doon.

3 Exercise Tips for Busy People


When I was still a student, it's easier for me to get fit. I can eat everything I want without getting fat. It's because I'm young and my metabolism is fast. 

I go to the gym. I play basketball. I run. I hike. I'm very active during that day. But things change when adulting hit me. I started working and I became inactive in my sports. 

Being fit became challenging for me.  I eat more and exercise less. I can't even find my abs (or ribs) anymore. 



It Really Hurts  (♪)

It really hurts me that I can't exercise because I have no time. It really hurts me that my clothes are shrinking. And that I became tired easily even if I'm still in my 20s.

I said to myself, I don't want this sedentary lifestyle. I believe that when I become unhealthy even if I'm still young, it will become worse when I become older or young at heart.

That's why, like BDO, I try to find ways to exercise despite my busy schedule. And I want to share to you the 3 Exercise Tips that I'm doing right now.

If you want to to be fit but don't have time, this is for you.



My 3 Exercise Tips for Busy People are:

1. FIND TIME

In my fitness journey, I tried to exercise at different times. I tried to do it before work and I tried to do it after work.

And based on my experience, morning is the best time to exercise if you want to be consistent. 

Why? We can't control what will happen after work because there is babe time, family time, or work time.

In my case, I wake up as early as 4 am everyday just to exercise. But you don't need to do that. You just need to find time that works for you.



2. PREPARE AT NIGHT

At night, I make it a habit to prepare things that I will need in my morning workout. This will help me lessen the friction of doing the actual workout in the morning. 

Before I go to sleep,

  • I already wear my workout clothes.
  • The rubber mats and dumbbells are already setup on the floor. 
  • And I'm already finished preparing my Protein Shake.

Because my things are already prepared at night, all I need to do is to wake up early, drink my protein shake, and do my workout.

THERE IS HOPE
Ano ang 6 na Bagay na Pwede natin Gawin Ngayon?


Nahihirapan ako mag-isip kung sino ang mga businesses na panalo at sino ang talo crisis na ito. Kasi alam ko na talo lahat tayo dahil sa domino effect na dulot ng COVID19.


Buti na lang talaga at may Enrile Memes na nagpapasaya sa akin. haha


Ano nga ba ang pwede natin gawin sa oras ng Crisis?


1. Be Proactive. Malungkot man ang nangyayari sa atin, focus muna tayo sa bagay na kontrolado natin.


Hindi natin kontrolado hanggang kailan ang quarantine, pero kontrolado natin kung ano ang gagawin natin habang nasa loob ng bahay.


2. Be Productive. Hangga't maari, sulitin ang halos isang buwan natin sa loob ng bahay. Kapag tapos na ang Quarantine, magiging busy ka na ulit.


Magbasa, Magsulat, Mag-exercise, Maglinis, Mag garden, at Magplano ay mga ilan sa mga bagay na pwede mong gawin habang nasa bahay.


3. Be Compassionate. Hindi maganda na sabihin sa tao na ang crisis na ito ay Hulog ng Langit lalo na sa mga frontliner, kamag-anak, o kaibigan na nagugutom at namamatay dahil sa COVID19.


4. Be Informed. Humanap ng paraan para maging updated sa Announcement, Rules, Schedule, at Tips sa bayan natin.


Kapag may suggestions o katanungan sa mga Enforcers, mas maganda kung kausapin muna ang taong involve para malaman kung bakit ganoon ang nangyayari.


5. Be Grateful. Maging appreciative tayo sa mga dadating na tulong. Dapat tayo ay magpasalamat maliit man o malaki ang dumating na tulong. Kapag grateful ka, malaki chance na tutulungan ka nga mga tao.


6. Be a Hero. Kung concern ka sa bayan, madami paraan para tumulong. Pwede ka magbigay ng pera o pagkain. Pwede ka din magbigay ng talent at oras mo. Ang kagandahan dito, pwede mo itong gawin kahit ano religion or political party mo.


Alam ko na mahirap ang sitwasyon natin ngayon. Pero naniniwala ako na makakayanan natin lahat ito kung magtutulungan tayo.

5 Bagay na Magbabago Dahil sa COVID19


Habang nag-iisip ako ng isusulat ngayon. Isa sa tinanong sa sarili ko ay kung ano ba ginagawa o napapansin ko ngayon na nabago dahil sa quarantine?


 At dyan pumasok ang limang observations ko. Ang mga ito ay:


The Way We Communicate
Sa nakikita ko, tataas ang bilang ng mga government agencies at businesses mag maximize sa paggamit ng Social Media at Email to communicate, to inform or to ask for feedback.


The Way We Organize Our Files
I realized din the importance ng meron ka Centralized Digital Storage para makapag collaborate ang team mo anytime at anywhere.

Imagine, hindi mo na kailangan dalhin 1,000+ documents just to work anywhere.


The Way We Buy
Para magsurvive, mapipilitan mag Level-up ang mga restaurants at retail store sa sistema nila sa Delivery.

Kailangan na lang nila matuto mag advertise sa Facebook effectively para ma inform at mag crave ang mga tao sa bahay.


The Way We Use Social Media
Sa timeline ko, madami ako nakikitang positive content nila Mayor Vico at Mayor Isko. Tapos puro negative content naman ang nakikita ko post kay Mayor Joy Belmonte.

Na realized ko lang kung gaano ka powerful ang Social Media sa pagbuo o pagsira ng isang tao.

Dahil sa social media, jinujudge natin agad yung tao kahit hindi natin alam ang buong istorya at kahit hindi pa natin na verify kung totoo ang mga ito.

Kahit majority pa din ng estudyante ay gustong mag-aral sa classroom. At hindi lahat ng teachers ay comfortable magturo ng Online,


Madadagdagan ang eskwelahan na magtuturo online. Isang halimbawa nito ay ang TESDA Online Program kung saan pwede ka mag-aral anytime at anywhere. (www.e-tesda.gov.ph)

Ano ba ang pwede natin itulong sa mga Frontliners?


Ang mga Frontliners natin ngayon ay pagod, puyat, takot, at overwhelm na. Isa isa kasi silang nagkakasakit at namamatay.


They risk their lives just to save us. Takot sila pero pinili nila maging matapang para sa atin.


Their only request to us is to Stay at Home for Them, because they Stayed At Work for Us. (At mag aasawa pa daw yung iba sila, haha)


Hangga’t maari:
a. Wag lalabas kung hindi naman talaga kailangan.
b. Matutong mag follow ng instruction from the Authority.
c. Sa may Sintomas ng COVID19, Be HONEST at Wag tatakas sa Hospital.


COVID19 really hurt ALL of us. And it will continue to Kill People kapag hindi ito Sineryoso.


Lahat tayo ay biktima dito. Lugi ang mga negosyo at walang trabaho ang mga tao. Mas kawawa ang mga taong walang makakain dahil sa crisis.


Sa ngayon, ang ma cocontribute lang natin bilang Pilipino ay Makipag cooperate  sa Authority, Mag focus sa mga bagay na kontrolado natin, at maging parte ng solusyon.

FOCUS ON LOVE, INSTEAD OF FEAR
Bored ka ba sa loob ng bahay?


Dati, hindi ko nararamdaman ang holiday. Ngayon, nalilito na ako kung anong araw na ngayon. haha


Sa mga nag Stay At Home, Good Job kayo dyan. Hassle man, Dapat tayo maging grateful kasi hindi lahat ng tao afford mag stay sa bahay.


Maliban sa COVID19, kailangan din natin paghandaan ang tumataas na kaso ng away mag-asawa, away magulang, awat anak, away magkapatid, at away magkaibigan.


At maiiwasan natin ito kapag may ginagawa tayo sa bahay, haha.


Sa mga naghahanap ng ideas ng mga pwede gawin sa loob ng bahay, heto ang pwede niyo gawin. Pwede mo gamitin ang oras mo:

b. To Create Art through Writing, Drawing, Painting, or Graphic Designs.
c. To Sing, To Dance, or to Play your favorite musical instrument
d. To Create your first Online Concert or Gig for a Cause
e. To create your Online Course to help others.

D. Peace of Mind :D
a. To clean your Room, Cabinet, or Bodega
b. To organize your files Online and Offline
c. To garden and to play with your Pets


If we Focus on Doing Things That We Love at Home, Makakalabas agad  tayo ng bahay dahil hindi na ma eextend ang Quarantine.

OPENNESS TO CHANGE
Open minded ka ba?


Paano kung ang nararanasan natin ngayon ay isang matinding wake-up call?


1. Wake-up call para matutong tayong mag-ipon.


Yung meron kang at least 1 to 6 months na Emergency Fund. Para kahit hindi ka magtrabaho ng ilan buwan, mag susurvive ka pa din at ng pamilya mo.

Wala tayo magagawa ngayon, pero may magagawa tayo sa susunod.


2. Wake-up call para mag invest muna sa sarili para kumita ng mas malaki.


Ang dami na Online Courses ngayon. Kailangan mo lang alamin kung saan ka interesado matuto.


Kapag na-connect mo ang Passion at Skills mo sa kung ano ang willing bayaran ng mga tao, Hindi ka mawawalan ng trabaho.


Sa panahon ng karamihan sa atin ay walang trabaho at sarado ang negosyo, Bukas ka naman ba sa pagbabago?

1. Experience Ylang Ylang Picking in Anao, Tarlac

We went to the Ylang-Ylang farm early in the morning.

On the farm, we experience first-hand how to choose and harvest the right Ylang-Ylang flowers. 



The red spot in the flower means it's ready for harvest. 


2. Visit Ylang-Ylang Center in Anao, Tarlac

After our Ylang-Ylang picking experience, we went to Anao Ylang-Ylang Center to know what they do after they harvest the Ylang-Ylang Flowers.



In the center, we saw the machine that they are using to produced Ylang-Ylang Essential Oils. The tour guide said that the Ylang-Ylang flower will go first into a Boiler, then into a Condenser, and then into a Separator. 

The Ylang-Ylang Flower is extracted 3 times. The 1st extract will be used in making Perfumes. The 2nd extract will be used in making Spa Oils. And the 3rd extract will be used in making Soaps.


3. Taste the Pansit Anao of Kape Agape

If you love food, you should try Pansit Anao of Kape Agape. It is a Community Cafe near Ylang-Ylang Center.

Your Anao tour will not be completed if you will not taste the slightly sweet Malunggay noodles with nuts.
